After its first round table organized in 2014 on “ individual freedoms: crossed approaches ", A second round table in 2015 on" religious freedoms in Tunisia ", the Tunisian Association for the Defense of Individual Freedoms (ADLI: www.adlitn.org), with the support of the Arab Institute for Human Rights and in collaboration with its partners Mawjoudin, Waai and ATL section Tunis, touches once again on another theme closely related to individual freedoms, namely " the body in all its freedoms ". This will be the theme of the round table which will take place on March 31, 2016 at the book fair at the Kram Exhibition Center from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
An opportunity that will allow a set of researchers and activists to debate the concept of "body" in all its freedoms. The debate will be conducted according to different approaches: psychological, legal, media, sociological, historical ... In this sense, the round table will be like a space for reflection and questioning on the perception of the body: by the judge by the constitution by international instruments, in psychology in sociology, its place (the body) in public space, and even the image of the body as conveyed by the media ...
In short, the round table will be an opportunity to dissect the relationship between the body and the outside world through contributions which will be the subject of subsequent publication.
