Analytical reading for the adoption of the Code of Individual Rights and Liberties (CODLI)

The analysis presented is based on four main points. After an examination of the general framework of the draft code of individual liberties, a brief presentation of the code is proposed, before tackling an analysis of the main rights and liberties it enshrines as well as the guarantees it provides to ensure their protection. This work highlights the added value of this legislative initiative to harmonize Tunisian laws with the constitution and with Tunisia's international commitments, and encourages the recently elected legislators to continue the efforts of their predecessors in favor of the universality of rights.

ADLI, founded by a group of six people (university professors, a lawyer, a judge, and a designer), is accessible to any citizen who shares its aims and values.
